How to transfer files through Filezilla FTP?

To upload and download folders and files using FileZilla:

Uploading Files and Folders:

Step 1: Connect to the remote site: Open FileZilla and enter the FTP server details (server address, username, password, port number) in the Quickconnect bar. Click on the "Quickconnect" button to establish a connection.

Step 2: Navigate to the destination folder: On the remote server side (displayed on the right side of the FileZilla interface), double-click on the desired folder where you want to upload the files or folders.

Step 3: Upload files or folders: To upload a file or folder from your local computer to the remote server, you have two options:

Option 1: Right-click on the file or folder in the local site (displayed on the left side of the FileZilla interface) and select "Upload" from the context menu. The file or folder will be uploaded to the selected folder on the remote server.

Option 2: Click and drag the file or folder from the local site to the desired location in the remote site.

Step 4: Monitor the upload progress: FileZilla will display the progress of each file transfer in the "Queued files" tab at the bottom of the interface. You can also view the transfer rate and estimated time remaining for each upload.

Downloading Files and Folders:

Step 1: Connect to the remote site: Open FileZilla and enter the FTP server details in the Quickconnect bar. Click on the "Quickconnect" button to establish a connection.

Step 2: Navigate to the source folder: On the remote server side, navigate to the folder containing the files or folders you want to download.

Step 3: Download files or folders: To download a file or folder from the remote server to your local computer, you have two options:

Option 1: Right-click on the file or folder in the remote site and select "Download" from the context menu. The file or folder will be downloaded to the local site.

Option 2: Click and drag the file or folder from the remote site to the desired location in the local site.

Step 4: Monitor the download progress: FileZilla will display the progress of each file transfer in the "Queued files" tab at the bottom of the interface. You can also view the transfer rate and estimated time remaining for each download.

Ensure that you verify the successful completion of uploads and downloads, check file integrity, and prioritize security when dealing with sensitive information during file transfers.
